We are part of a New Zealand Network of independent locally-owned Chartered Accountancy firms.  The original firm that has now become Markhams was founded in 1926 by David Markham.

Markhams Hawkes Bay Limited has a proud history in the region spanning nearly 100 years. Established by Mr L A Denton in 1912, ‘Denton Donovan’, eventually became Markhams Hawkes Bay.

A 16 person team, Markhams Hawkes Bay provides a full range of accounting and business advisory services.

A significant number of our original clients are still with the firm, which shows that our philosophy of providing personal, prompt, efficient and comprehensive service has worked for our clients.

We are proud of our history and proven reputation, and look forward to remaining an integral and trusted part of our clients’ businesses for the next 100 years.
